  • Will you need my full bouquet?
Yes, to get the best results possible please include the whole bouquet. Some flowers may bruise or wilt before reaching me, so having the whole bouquet ensures I have as many flowers as possible to pick from.
  • Will my pressed flowers change colour over time?
While our preservation process is designed to maintain your bouquet's beauty for years to come, it's important to understand that some subtle colour changes may occur over time. These changes are typically minimal but can include fading, some discolouring and browning at the edges. Overall this should not detract from the charm of your preserved arrangement.
  • Where are you located?
My studio is located in East Belfast, Northern Ireland. I can currently accept flowers from anywhere in Northern Ireland, ROI and mainland UK.
  • How much will it cost to send my bouquet to you?
With EVRI the cost is calculated based on weight. Bouquet weight will be unique to each bride but on average a bridal boutique will weight 2-5kgs. Therefore postage from the UK should be around £8-£10.
  • When will I receive my completed frame?
Each piece is carefully and lovingly hand created, and this process is time consuming. You should expect your completed piece to be ready to ship to you around 12-16 weeks from the date of your wedding.
  • Do you need a deposit?
Yes, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required on booking your date with me. You pay the remaining balance of the piece when it is ready to ship to you.
  • Which courier should I use?
We recommend using EVRI (formerly Hermes) as our preferred courier service. https://www.evri.com/send However you can use any reputable courier service of your choice as long as they will ship to Northern Ireland.
  • Will every flower in my bouquet be pressed?
Yes, I will press every flower I receive, so I am not able to return any flowers to you. Some individual flowers will press better than others so I will only include the very best in your final framed piece.
  • Will my flowers be the same colour in the frame?
All flowers will change during the drying and pressing process but some will change colour more than others. The flowers in your completed frame may not look identical to your bouquet but they will be the flowers you held with you on your special day and they can now be with you preserved forever.
  • How do I package my bouquet?
After your wedding day you will need to carefully prep and package up your bouquet and send it to the Hollie Blossoms Studio as soon as possible. Don't worry this is much easier than it sounds and you will receive a detailed packing and sending guide when you book.
  • How do I get my bouquet to you?
To ensure your bouquet is in the best possible condition I kindly ask that you get your flowers to me as soon as possible, within 2 days of your wedding date is preferable. Northern Ireland Brides: NI brides tend to prefer to hand deliver the bouquets to my studio in East Belfast. This can be done by a member of the bridal party, a friend or a wedding guest. Brides outside of Northern Ireland: All bouquets should be sent first class recorded delivery, via a reputable company. You will receive easy to follow postage and packaging details when you have booked in with me. As weddings are busy times I suggest you assign this job to someone else to ensure the flowers reach me on-time.
